A Review to the Paranormal Activity Series

 This have been my favorite movie ever since the "Drag me to Hell" and "Insidious". Directed by  Oren Peli, the film goes with the couple Katie ( Katie Featherston) and Micah (Micah Sloat) as they go filmed and photograph "THE THING" thats haunting them.

The first film earned nearly $108 million at the U.S. box office and $194 million worldwide. The movie earns awards for it's outstanding performance. Due to it's success the Dreamworks/Paramount Pictures aquired the rights of the movie, and install a SEQUEL to the first one.

 The Paranormal Activity 2, a prequel to the first movie, directed by Tod Williams, the movie involves the sister of Katy, Kristi and her husband Dan and her stepchild Ali. The events goes with the same "HAUNTING" that is also experienced by the family of Kristi. Like the couple did, the family also filmed the haunting.

 And for the third time, The Paranormal Activity 3, - this time, the film is set on the childhood of Katy and Kristi. Dan, after the events of the 2nd film, watch a set of Home Videos of Kristi and found out something. . .

Geothermal Energy: A safer source of Electricity

From the Calpline Corporation, Mr. John Traller disscused about the "GEOTHERMAL ENERGY" - what does it mean?

  Geotheramal Energy is an energy/electrcity coming from the the "NATURAL STEAMS" of the earth. It is like a "HOT SPRING", but is hotter and produces more heat than hot springs. These steams are found near "VOLCANOES". From the lava down the earth, it boils the water from the PERMAEBLE LAYER of the earths crust and making it CONDENSED.

 As the disscusion goes further, he revealed that they are converting these steams into usable electricity. At the Geysers, they first make about 350 watts, empowering an entire resort. Now, they have plants on the United States where they give power not only to a resort or a village, but to cities!

 He also revealed the advantages of a Geothermal Powerplants. First, it does not harm the earth since they only use steams, and also these steams are recyclacle. Secondly, the supply will not be affected by any pheonomenas such as El Nino unlike those of Hydroelectric Powerplant. Lastly, it cost lesser.

 As it ended, he let the students ask further questions, and he also answered it with satisfiying answers. He also gave a souveneir saying that he will come back to our school!

My experience as a first time blogger

  Overflowing! One word to describe what me and my co-leagues have been through with our first time in blogging. Overflowing ideas!

 I'll share something about that when we were deciding about title on our own blog, not being "SO" sarcastic about it, but i really wrote "EMPTY" on my title! Really, it did overflow, and left nothing! haha :P! I was just kidding! Though, i really think of a unique, sarcastic, ironic, theme and title about my blogs, something like it's funny but real! I have chosen "CORNERS OF MY BOX" because, corners are usually dark and unseen. What i've wanted is that, i could share, and let people read on my blog, the undiscovered and unrecognized sides of my mind!
